Where does your money go?

Did you know?

  • If you want your donation to go for a specific purpose enter that purpose (like "refugees") in the comment area of the paypal donation system.

  • You can become a sustaining donor by clicking on the sustaining donor on the home tab. Sustaining donors help us out by providing a consistent amount of money on a monthly basis.

  • 99% of your donations fund the location and programming of the Borderland Rainbow Center.

  • We have delivered over 400 events or services per year.

  • We supply food to over 800 families monthly, including canned goods, fresh fruits/vegetables, frozen meat, juice, milk, bread, and tortillas. A $32 donation pays for 100lbs of rice.

  • Our first two paid employees are our Community Work Study students - and 88% of their wages are grant funded. A $25 donation funds the BRC contribution for 13 hours of work.

  • All of our main activities are staffed by volunteers.
  • All volunteers have undergone background checks, many have professional qualifications.
  • Board members and our Executive Director donate any money they earn providing training to the BRC; in fact the payments are made out directly to the organization.
